I'm so sorry about your kitty. I hope you and your family are doing ok.....
My cat is 22 years young. She's a diabetic and has lots of health problems right now [3 shots a day]. She's too lazy to do much playing, but she most definitely is more like a dog. She needs constant attention and will whine to be picked up/patted..... when she's not eating of course. She's got her priorities!
I'm VERY allergic to cats, so I have obviously never been around many in my life. My pup is like a child to me, and I can't imagine that your little guy was was anything less to your wife. My heart breaks for her! I know these are words from a random stranger, but I truly hope the pain your family feels will ease soon!
I too am mourning one of my furry friends...he was a feral cat I've been feeding for several yrs. And his brother and I are both missing him some kinda bad!
